Happy New Year & Welcome Back to the MLM Success Blog. Today, I want to share with you a free traffic system called the Perfect Traffic Storm.

Perfect Traffic Storm is a new site that will boost your web traffic and get your promotions in front of more visitors, guaranteed. How does it work? Simple. You make 1 small change in what you’re doing (takes about 30 seconds) and that’s it!

Let’s take a deeper look at how this free traffic system works..

Inside the site, you create links and ads–the links you simply enter any URL links you use into the generator and it transforms them into “Perfect Traffic Storm” links. You create ads for anything you want to promote using the Perfect Traffic Storm Ad Generator, which is very easy to use. You can create as many links and as many ads as you like. And they are organized in a logical way–links are displayed in the order you create them but also your 5 most recent links appear on the main page for quick reference. Also, since the link generator is the tool you’ll use most, it is also right at the top of the main page when you login. Very smart!

After you’ve created at least 1 link and 1 ad you can start to generate traffic. Just use and promote the new Perfect Traffic Storm link instead of the original source link you had. Every time the Perfect Traffic Storm link is clicked, the page loads followed by a cool slide-up ad window at the bottom. It displays an ad PLUS an image with your affiliate link that goes back to Perfect Traffic Storm. So if anyone clicks the Perfect Traffic Storm image they see the site, and if they signup they become your referral. It’s a great viral feature because you can build referrals without even trying to just by using the site.

Now every time the ad window displays (your Perfect Traffic Storm links get clicked) you earn credits that get YOUR ad displayed in the ad windows when other members’ links get clicked. So the more clicks, the more times your ads get displayed.

And this works virally–meaning as you make referrals into Perfect Traffic Storm (either by promoting it or just using it and visitors click the Perfect Traffic Storm image on the ad window to join) you also earn ad credits on THEIR link clicks. And this works up to 5 levels deep. So you can create a massive amount of free ad views and web traffic by referring others to Perfect Traffic Storm also.

I didn’t get to test the full effect of a big downline yet (I just got the tool) but I can tell you the rest of the site works exactly as stated–my links got clicked, I earned credits, and my ads got displayed. Perfect Traffic Storm even tracked my results so I know how many clicks and how many ad displays. That was an impressive unadvertised extra feature.

There is one more benefit and feature which might be the best of them all–downline emailing. You can email your downline with offers, promotions, or whatever you like, and here is where Perfect Traffic Storm really shines. They took time to make the emailing often enough that it’s valuable as a user, but not so often that it’s a burden to your downline. But the best part about this feature (and actually the credit earning too) is that it tells you exactly how long until you can mail again. Sort of reminds me of Viral URL in the way the system works. However, this system is new so you will not have problems getting others to join you.. which means even more free downline members to email.

Overall I have to say I am impressed with Perfect Traffic Storm. It is simple yet powerful, and delivers on its promises. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to increase traffic and advertising.

In conjunction with our last tip on creating an affiliate program, this post will address the three main aspects of creating a successful affiliate program.

Who should my affiliates be?
When selecting people to partner with you, consider their value. Find someone whose influence is going to drive sales. Seek out the gurus and experts in your industry and see if they’d be willing to partner with you. Look for individuals with a market that is either larger, or hits another set of prospects than yours does. Finally, choose affiliates that are excited about, and preferably use, your products and service.

How should my affiliates be paid?
Always pay your affiliates on a commission basis. Like most salesman, if they do nothing… they receive nothing. The harder they work, the more they earn. However, the value of each of your affiliates is going to vary. Consider paying commissions based on a tiered payment structure.

How do I motivate affiliates to act?
Even the best partners need motivation to work with you. Here’s the key: make it EASY and LUCRATIVE for them. They’re busy. You’ve got to do as much of the work for them as you can. And, you need to be generous. Remember, it’s their influence and list you want, not their work. Make it easy and lucrative for them and your success will soar.

Creating and managing multi-tiered affiliate structures should not be difficult. Find an affiliate management software program that does this for you. Then, sit back and see what your affiliates can do!

Have you ever heard the saying, “I know that I waste half of my advertising budget. The problem is I don’t know which half!” It is this very philosophy that is prompting me to strongly inform you… advertising doesn’t work!

Let me show you why:

  • There is no way to track effectiveness (or ineffectiveness)
  • It’s impersonal
  • The target audience is too large
  • It’s costly to redo or improve
  • There is no call to action

What surprises me is the number of small business owners that save their marketing dollars just to waste them on ineffective advertising. Then, they complain because nothing is working and they don’t have any customers.

I know what you’re thinking, “Isn’t advertising and marketing the same thing?” Well, not really. Let me explain the differences. Advertising includes: commercials, billboards, radio, and newspapers. Marketing includes: emails, letters, postcards, and fax.

So how is follow-up marketing better than advertising?

Follow-up Forever: The Key to Effective Marketing

What is the REAL purpose of follow-up?
Not everybody is ready to purchase your products or services right now. But that doesn’t mean they won’t eventually. Follow-up keeps your name in front of your contacts until they are ready to buy.

When should my first follow-up message go out?
Immediately. If you obtained a lead from your website, make sure they instantly receive an email from you. If you purchase your leads, get in touch with them right away. If you spoke to a prospect in person or on the phone, send them a follow-up message. Don’t give them time to forget about you. Start building that relationship right now.

How frequently should I follow up with my contacts?
When first marketing to a lead or customer, it’s all right to send them several sequential emails. Remember, the average person needs to hear your message seven times before they buy. Follow up regularly during the first year of contact. After that you can include them in a less frequent campaign.

How long should I continue to follow up?
Follow up should continue indefinitely. If you have a system in place, this should be a simple task. It never hurts to stay in touch. After all, you can never guess when a prospect will be ready to buy.

If you take the time to consistently follow up with ALL your prospects and customers, you will be adding hundreds, even thousands of dollars to your bottom line.
