Alot of people in this world are not contented with what they have, or have had . Well, for me, it is not a bad thing. It is always a good  thing to dream for a better life for you and for the ones you love. It is not bad to aim higher and be ambitious with what you want to become. On the other hand, some people are just contented with what they have and  how simple a life they are living. They will just go with the flow, “If it happens, then so be it, and if not, it will be just fine”.

They always believe that everything that happens to us are all of God’s will. Well, I also believe in that but, I do believe as well  that you are what you make yourself. Everything that is happening to your life is in your hands and no one is in better control of it but you and the God above.

Here is one example, a guy who always go to the church and pray to God that he wins the lottery. He kept on coming back to the church just to ask God, of course always the same thing. He did not even bother to thank God for the food he eats everyday, for the clothes he wears and not even for the shelter he’s living. But you know what is stupid? He did not even buy a ticket to win the lottery. See how stupid that was? He even felt bad about it and got mad at Jesus for not letting him win, ain’t that a piece of stupidity?

Whether we admit it or not, we get upset  if we don’t get what we want.  We keep on asking God why and what’s wrong? Why aren’t we as fortunate as other people? Why they can get everything they want in just a snap of a finger? Why they can buy expensive clothes and not worry about what they will eat the next day? Why they can afford to buy an expensive meal which is already enough to feed  five families?

Yes! A lot of questions you will have to ask or always asks God. But, aren’t you wondering what circumstances those fortunate people had to overcome? Aren’t you wondering how many meals they skipped just to be in the place where they are right now? Aren’t you wondering how bravely they had to be to spend the night in some alley in the cold rain, just because they didn’t have a shelter to come home to?

What they have been through made them stronger and fortunate as what they are now. If you want to win the lottery, of course you have to be sure you buy a ticket. If you are dreaming to have a better life, dont be just praying and praying. God wants to see some action!  Initial moves for your future must be made that will lead you to a wealthy life. Everybody deserves a wealthy life, it is up to you if you will claim it or just be content with what you think God has given you.

So, make a move and  enjoy your steak dinner in a fancy restaurant. Sounds good right? Because, definitely it tastes good.  And you deserve it!

Always remember, you are what you make yourself. God is not to blame.. It’s You!

Hello Everyone! I apologize for my absence the past few days. But as I mentioned, I had a personal family issue that required my attention. With that being said, I ask that all of you with a praying spirit, please add my mother to your prayers. Her heart is failing her right now. So, it is my prayer request that all of you would pray for her and my family as we deal with her health issue.

Today, I want to get back into The Science of Getting Rich series that we started over a week ago. If you are just now finding your way to the MLM Success Blog, I would like to welcome you to the site. Please feel free to travel back a few days to catch up with this particular blog discussion.

So, where are we? Oh, we were on Chapter 6 – How Riches Come to You

This is one of my favorite chapters. It really symbolizes the Christian spirit ~ the giving spirit. As a Christian we are taught to give, give, and give some more. We are taught to be a selfless giver, to give without expectations of receiving anything in return. However, by the grace of God, He bestows upon us many wonderful blessings because of our cheerful act of giving.

I love being on the giving side of things. It makes my heart happy to see the smile on someone’s face when they receive something from me that was totally unexpected. Emma Tiebens’ response to me writing about her in one chapter of this series is just one particular example. As much as I am already inspired by how much she has given me and this industry, she is just as inspired by the small things I can give her.

I am actually speaking more from experience than from the chapter in this book. But don’t runaway, I will soon speak of some key points that Mr. Wallace D. Wattles has expressed in The Science of Getting Rich.

But before we go there, there’s a short story I want to share with you.

There was a recent time in my life where I was struggling, and struggling B A D L Y. I had made some unwise financial decisions, I was out of work and I had more bills than the little retirement check could cover. However, I remained faithful that God would see me through it all.

A few weeks (like close to 2 months) without heat, hot water and barely surviving off of Ramen Noodles (this is a true story).. My prayers were finally answered. I received a gift from a dear friend by way of PayPal. She said she was led to send me that gift. So, by the grace of God I had been blessed. Well, it did not stop there. Later I received another blessing, much larger than the first gift I had received. Between the two, it was “precisely” the amount I needed to pay off my current debt, to get the heat back on and to buy some “real” food. It was “precisely” the amount I needed to get back on my feet! Soon after the job came and a steady flow of income resumed.

It was one of the worst times of my life to go from being really comfortable to having absolutely nothing at all, but I learned so much from that experience. I learned that God blesses those that keep the faith. Plus, He rewards those that give from the heart. I have been blessed and my friends have been rewarded (and blessed). Estalinda Roberson and an “Unnamed Source” were just a couple of people who brought the gifts that God wanted me to have. It is my prayer that I will one day be able to do the same for others out there with similar life challenges.

By the way.. I want to publicly thank them for all that they mean to me. Estalinda is away on assignment right now in support of the Haiti earthquake. She just never stops giving. Prayers to her, her family, the victims of the earthquake and their families.

Also, I want to thank my coach, Larry Beacham and mentor, Emma Tiebens for the knowledge they have poured into me. And.. thanks Debra Morrison and Andy Sharp for the prayers and encouragement!!

Okay. That went a little bit longer than I had anticipated. I guess it was just the right time for me to share this story. The situation with my mother and all of the blessings I am most thankful for were just things on my heart today.

With that being said, looks like there will be a second part to this story after all. Tomorrow, I will get back on track with The Science of Getting Rich series.. I promise :~)

Until then.. Be a blessing to someone by giving them an unexpected gift. Like I already said, it does not have to be monetary in value. Give someone your time, some good advice, or just some simple words of encouragement. It will go a long ways towards making their day.. or possibly their life!

Welcome back to the MLM Success Blog. I hope you have enjoyed the series so far. I tell ya, I am sure getting pumped up reading and sharing this information with you – The Science of Getting Rich. I just hope you are just as pumped and I hope you will pay attention long enough to accept these principles and applying them in your everyday life. If you do, I am almost certain that I will be writing about you years from now.

Today, we are going to jump into the meat and potatoes of these book. But before we do, lets take a glance back at what has already been discussed.

Now we begin Chapter 4 – The First Principle in the Science of Getting Rich

It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you set your mind to it. If you want to become the richest man in the world, you can certainly achieve it… But only if you can convince yourself it’s possible.

The first principle of the Science of Getting Rich is to learn how to control your mind, your thoughts. You have to create a belief system that’s base on things that may not be visibly seen. By doing this you will begin to see a world filled with many wonderful opportunities, instead of a world full of impossibilities.

Original substance moves according to its thoughts. Every form and process you see in nature is the visible expression of a thought in the original substance. As it thinks of a form, it takes that form; as it thinks of a motion, it takes that motion.That is the way all things were created. We live in a thought world, and the world is part of a thought universe.

This goes back to an earlier blog post I wrote – Change Your Attitude & You Will Increase Your Wealth

In that post we learned that positive thoughts create positive results. If you think something will happen, whether positive or negative, it will come to be as such. Therefore, you most always put positive thoughts in your mind. Forget about your past failures, and focus on your future successes. Forget about your your past debts, instead think about your future fortunes. Lose all the negative thoughts in your mind and replace them with thoughts that will help you achieve your goals.

You must lay aside all of the concepts of the universe than this monistic one. You must dwell upon this until it is fixed in your mind and has become your habitual though. Read the creed statements over and over again. Fix every word upon your memory, and meditate upon them until you firmly believe what they say. If a doubt comes to you, cast it aside as a sin.

The science of getting rich begins with the absolute acceptance of this faith.

Boy, this is some powerful information! But.. it’s not over yet. We still have much to learn. So, I will pick up tomorrow with Chapter 5 – Increasing Life.

“You can keep on knocking but you can’t come in!”
Is that what you will say when opportunity comes knocking at you door? I should hope not.. Because more often than not, you will only have one shot at success. So if you miss it, you may very well have missed your opportunity of a lifetime.

When Opportunity Comes Knocking, Will You Be Ready?

Yesterday, we discussed The Science of Getting Rich, Chapter 2 – There is a Science of Getting Rich. Today, we will take a look at how opportunity plays into this wealth formula in Chapter 3 – Is Opportunity Monopolized?.

Before we begin, lets recap what we have learned so far. First, I started Monday with the intro to this series by asking the question: Are Christians Allowed to be Rich? I got lots of positive feedback from many of my friends on my Facebook, but not much here on the blog. It’s okay. That just means you agree with all I said.. I hope :~)

Next, we went into Chapter 1 – The Right to Be Rich where we learned that it is our God-given Right to be Rich. Again, not much feedback on the blog. However, I think that most of you would agree that you have a right to pursue wealth. You have a right to accumulate much wealth, and you have a right to live the life you desire.

And then yesterday we discussed the actual Science of Getting Rich. If you are doing things in a certain way, even if it is by accident, you will become rich. Your lack of talent or money can’t prevent it from happening. The only thing that can prevent it is YOU!

As in the previous post, I will use text directly from the book. You will know the difference because the font will be red and in italics. If you do not have a copy of The Science of Getting Rich to follow along, you can purchase the book new or used for under five dollars at any online bookstore. This is simply one of those books you will want to read over.. and over.. and over again.

No person is kept poor because opportunity has been taken away from him – because other people have monopolized the wealth and put a fence around it. You may decide not to engage in certain kinds of business, but there are other channels open to you.

This is where network marketing is key. It is one of the few income earning opportunities that’s available to anyone. I have seen and written about many people who began marketing online with little and ended up with a fortune. I would like to use my coach and mentor, Larry Beacham, as an example.

Larry was on the verge of calling it quits around this time last year. He had just lost his job as a cable guy (Larry the Cable Guy.. haha), his wife was unemployed and he had five kids to feed. Larry’s opportunity came knocking that day. It came by way of an email message from an upline leader and very successful Internet Marketer, Sandra Essex. That email message changed his life forever. Her inspiring words are what took Larry from being broke and hopeless to a five or six-figure income earner in as little as six months. Larry does not disclose these figures too often to the public, but since I work directly with him, I will disclose it for you. Larry is doing really well in this industry.. Trust me :~) Watch Larry as he tell you his story.

Begin Doing Things a Certain Way.. Get The Marketing System!

I can go on naming many people I work with as either upline leaders or downline members who are doing the same. They have seized the opportunity and they have been rewarded for heeding the call. They did things a certain way and they rode the tide of opportunity. Are you doing the same?

There is an abundance of opportunity for the man who will go with the tide, instead of trying to swim against it.

Network Marketers, either as individuals or as a group, are not deprived of opportunity. Marketers are not being kept down by their leaders - by the powers of big business and the conglomerates. As a group, they are where they are because they do things in a certain way.

Now this may sound a bit repetitious, but you are not without wealth due to a shortness in the supply of riches. As we continue through this series you will soon realize that you can obtain the wealth you desire by simply doing what others are doing. This “certain way” will be revealed to you and you will begin to understand the right way to earning wealth.. the kind of wealth you always dreamed of earning!
