Today we have a special guest with us. If you are struggling to acquire leads for your network marketing business, you definitely will be glad you joined us today. We are honored to have with us today, Larry Beacham.
Larry Beacham is the Principal with Diamond Cutter Marketing Group and owner of Stone Cold Millionaire dot com. He specializes in alternative marketing strategies for network marketers.
Before we bring him out, let me tell you a quick story. I had the distinct privilege of hearing Larry speak on a webinar a while back. And Ladies and Gentlemen, I have to tell you, he completely blew me away. Immediately upon concluding the webinar, I went and did a quick search for this fella. I located him on Facebook, and shot him a quick message.
Long story short, I spoke with Larry the following day. I applauded him on the strategy that he revealed on the webinar, the same strategy he will be sharing with you today. Larry is someone I often go to now for advice related to my business, and he is the reason why I have been able to completely turn my business around. So, it is with great honor I bring out our guest, my coach and mentor, the Stone Cold Millionaire himself, Larry Beacham.
Hello, Larry. It is great having you on the show today.
Thanks, Barry. It’s a definite honor being here today.
So, Larry. I want to speak to you about a strategy you revealed to us a little while back, that allows you to get tons of leads for free. Before you go into this strategy, I have to tell you, like I tell all my guest, we have to make this quick. YouTube will not allow me to upload videos over 10 minutes in length. So, you are going to have to speak super fast.
Ok. So, why don’t you begin by telling us how you go about generating, 20, 30, 40 or more free leads daily using social networking.
Well, Barry. Again, thanks for having me on the show today. Before I begin, I want to say a real personal thank you to my wife who supports me 110 percent. We have been through a lot together when it comes to network marketing and just different things. So, she has been on my side the whole time, she is my hero. And, I just want to publicly acknowledge her support.
Ok. So, let’s jump into this. I want to really start with telling my story, helping you guys to understand who I am and how I got to where I am today in more detail.
In February of this year, I uh. I wrote an article talking about this. I termed it, Contemplating Network Marketing Suicide. I was at a place where I was at a place of despair, where I just decide this business, this so called industry and all of that, was not worth the stress and headache that I was going through. And I sat in a restaurant and my stomach just turned about. You know, what was I going to do? I got tired of leaving the house, burning gas going all over the place, trying to find people, just dealing with knuckle heads, people that hate the industry. You know, all of the stuff I know you and everyone in the audience pretty much understands. I was at a place in February that I was done. That’s it! I would just have to find real estate, stock investing. Matter of fact I had just bought this e-book pack that I was going to sell.
My wife and I talked about me selling e-books. So, that is where I was at in February. On my way to quit the industry for good, I decided that I was going to check the Internet one more time to see if there was something out here that could help me out, if somebody could show me something, because otherwise, I was going to put a gun to the temple of this business and blow its brains out.
That’s how I felt in my heart, I am just keeping it real with you. So, I jumped on the Internet and I belonged to a bunch of different social networks, and I belonged to one in particular. And a young lady sent me a message called Monday Morning Motivation, her name is Sandra Essex. Sandra sent this message to me. I did not know her, she did not know me, but we were on each others list. I clicked on her message, and I don’t even remember what the message said, but I can tell you what it did. It saved my business. It absolutely saved my business.
When I got done reading her message and I understood what my real problem was, I actually burst into tears. I realized for the first time in my life that my problem was prospecting. So, I burst into tears and just was fired up about the fact that someone actually gave me some real answers. And the one thing she taught me in that message was that you have to stop prospecting, you just have to stop chasing people, you have to stop playing the prospecting lottery. You know, many will play but few will win. When you are doing that, it is a game of chance. So, she taught me in that message that I needed to become a professional marketer. But let me just share with you a little bit about my background, a little bit more detail. To help you understand where I really came from. Yeah, I was Larry the Cable Guy. haha, very funny!
I was the guy that would knock on your front door, climb up in your attic, and go in your basement to hook up cable so that you could have TV. Ok. But this is my real background. I don’t have a college education. I went to high school and I had a little time at Ohio State University, but I never finished. I don’t have any formal marketing training. I am a blue collar guy. I mean, I did cable, that’s basically what I did. I had never before written anything, formal or informal on a professional level, ever. I had never cut any videos. I mean, the only type of videos I had were kids splashing each other with water, you know, just silly stuff like that. Just things that you do with your family. I had never cut a professional video before. And I had no technical training when it comes to the Internet. I know, like most people, how to get on the Internet and check my email and do different things like that, but up until this point I really had no technical background.
So, I am 100% born and bread in my current marketing program, which I will not disclose here on the set. But I began in this program on March fifth.
So over the last 6 months, let me kind of share some detail on what I have been able to do with this approach I am going to be talking about this evening. Number one, I have been able to generate over 1600 leads, and over 95 percent of those leads come from LinkedIn.
When I say leads, I am talking about preinterested leads. I am not talking about prequalified leads, you know, asking those empty questions like: Hey, do you keep your options open? You looking for ways to make extra money? Can you come to this hotel meeting? Is it ok if me and my upline double team you and try to force you in?
I am talking about preinterested leads. I am talking about people that once they look at my videos, once they read the content, they make a conscious decision to plug their information into my website, and then I contact them. That’s the kind of leads this marketing system has taught me how to generate. And I have generated that many over the last 6 months. I average anywhere between 10 to 15 a day just on LinkedIn, in particular. There’s been a couple times when I generated more than 30 leads. As a matter of fact, one day I generated 39 leads, and my best has been 46 leads in one day, and that took place on June 23rd.
1 day, 46 leads. Now I know the PPC People, the pay per click guys, hit that level from time to time, but I did it all on LinkedIn for free. I have enrolled 94 people into this marketing program, and 89 of them are from LinkedIn. I have held the number 2 spot, as high as the number 2 spot in recruiting, the number 4 spot in generating leads, and I have been rank in the top 10 or 20 over the last 3 months out of the membership that we currently have in this program.
So, that’s a quick understanding of who I am.
Larry, I need to interrupt you for a second. We are coming close to the end of the time allotted to us. That was not what I meant by being super quick. I mean, that was just the opposite.
